| Biography
My name is Lafate Smith and I am blessed to
say that there is only a short period in my life when I failed to keep up
an active fitness program. This was during a time when I worked a full
time job and was going to school in the evening to complete my Bachelor’s
Degree while in my early thirties. Although I was successful in completing
my degree, the sacrifice on my fitness took months to recover from.
Nonetheless, that period in my life helps me to empathize with my clients
who are trying to balance all of the many responsibilities they have while
trying to work out and adhere to a fitness program.
I’ve used my over 20 years experience in exercising and weight training to
design fitness programs around the understanding that time is important
and of the essence for the majority of working adults. My workouts are
safe, intense, effective, and conducted in just 30 to 40 minutes. They are
designed to allow my clients to obtain good, top quality training sessions
with a certified fitness trainer at an affordable price.

Training Philosophy
“Fitness is a lot easier when you know how”
Those of us who have completed a ‘Do It Yourself’ project on something in
your home or car, can contest to the fact that although we were successful
in our endeavor and saved a few dollars, the project was very laborious
and most likely took at least twice the amount of time as it would have
taken if we had hired a professional.
Fitness is no different. Weights, machines and even desire alone will not
necessarily get you to your fitness goals expediently, if at all. However a
good fitness trainer can help you achieve noticeable results in six to
eight weeks.
