| Biography
Hello, and welcome!
From the age of 4, I was an avid athlete who participated in sports such
as swimming, dancing, and track & field. After high school, I spent 10
years in the military. During that time, I was also an aerobics
instructor and began competitive bodybuilding as my hobbies. My last
assignment in the military was spent as a Health Promotion Program
Manager, and from there I knew I wanted to branch out on my own and teach
wellness for a living! The discipline and experience I gained from my
past enable me to help others learn how to help themselves. I, too, learn
from my clients and stand firm in “practicing what I preach!”
Hobbies & Interests
Bodybuilding and fitness
competitions, reading, dancing (jazz/modern, tap, ballet, etc.),
copyediting and writing, and collecting Wonder Woman paraphernalia. |
Training Philosophy
I believe the power of
the mind is the most powerful piece of “equipment” in the training room.
Nourishing the mind then comes from having food, fitness and faith!
Notice the word “faith” is used instead of “fun.” Let me be
straight-forward and honest: exercise and eating healthy while juggling a
busy life, family, and work isn’t always fun and isn’t always going to be
easy. Until daily activity and following a proper nutrition plan becomes
a habit, you must dedicate some hard work, focus and consistency.
I am here to help guide people through that process with no frills. And
you must have faith in yourself; if you don’t believe you can do it, then
you won’t and can’t expect anyone else to. Show me the commitment you are
willing to make for yourself, and I will give you my commitment to
help you succeed!
